Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A coating material comprising (A) a baking electrical insulating coating material based on a polyester, (B) an ethylenic ionomer resin in an amount of preferably 15wt% or less, more preferably 2W12wt%, based on the nonvolatile content of (A). Preferably, component (B) dispersed in a mixed solvent of toluene and an alcohol in a concentration of about 3W8wt% is added to (A).
EFFECT: A based electric wire having improved adhesivity to an impregnating varnish can be obtained with the number of coating and baking steps reduced by half.
