Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the device small-sized and light in weight and to reduce the cost therefor by coupling a sun gear to an input shaft by means of a gear-coupling mechanism and by coupling a fixed inner gear to a case body also by means of the gear- coupling mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The sun gear 2 is coupled to the input shaft 1 by the gear-coupling mechanism which consists of crowning outer teeth 1c formed in the small-diameter part 1b of the input shaft and of a inner-teeth gear 2a cut on the inner-peripheral surface of the gear 2 and in which the gear 2a is fitted shakably to an outer teeth 2c. And, by coupling crowning outer teeth 20a cut on the outer-peripheral surface of the fixed inner gear 20 engaged with the planet gear 9 by means of the gear- coupling mechanism consisting of an inner gear 21, the sun gear 2 can be displaced in a prescribed amount in the direction of diameter in relation to the input shaft 1. By this constitution, the tooth surfaces of all the teeth of the sun gear 2, the planet gear 9 and the fixed inner gear 20 are fitted closely to each other and thereby tooth load is distributed equally to all of the gears, and therefore, it becomes unnecessary to machine each component part in high precision.
