Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a chopper type air slow rate controller which can prevent generation of noise field and surge voltage by locating a chopper control circuit which comprises a semiconductor current control element and a one-way current element immediately near a battery of the automobile. CONSTITUTION:The chopper control circuit 20 is located immediately near the battery 10 to chopper control a blower motor 1 in response to an air flow rate setting signal from an operation part 14 of the air conditioner. In this instance, a constant amount of current flows through a point (b), the blower motor 1 and a point (c). Thus, the distance between points (a) and (b) and points (c) and (d) wherein a pulse current flows is very short, so that the generation of noise field can be minimized. Since the wiring inductance is also very small, the generation of surge voltage is so small as can be disregarded. Accordingly, the air flow rate controller having the above-mentioned construction can effectively prevent the generation of noise field and surge voltage.
