Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the stripping of a pawl and breakage of a support member, and facilitate the removal of the clogged paper by energizing the support member mounting the stripping pawl freely turnably in a clogged paper removing direction and in a reset direction by means of a spring. CONSTITUTION:Althrough a stripping pawl 1 is held energized at all times in a photosensitive drum 3 direction by a spring 10, it is limited from contacting the drum 3 by means of a link 11. When a paper 4 is fed to the pawl, a solenoid 2 operates in synchronization with this, and the links 12, 11 are pulled by the plunger 7 of the solenoid 2, by which the pawl 1 is unlocked, and approaches to the drum 3, thereby stripping the paper 4. Even if paper clogging with the pawl 1 occurs, the pawl 1 rotates together with a support member 6 at the time of removing the clogged paper and the passage for the clogged paper is opened; therefore, the clogged paper is removed easily.
