Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform stable signal compression/expansion by connecting the noninversion input terminal of a control amplifier not via a signal amplifier, but direct to a variable filter. CONSTITUTION:To a main bus lm betwen an input terminal T1 and an output terminal T2, a coupled circuit 10 and a reflector 11 are connected and to a side bus ls coupled with the circuit 10, a variable filter 12 and a signal amplifier 13 are connected. Then, the volume of transmission of the filter 12 is controlled by a control amplifier 14 and a rectifier/smoothing circuit 15. Either one of an input signal to the circuit 10 and an output signal from the reflector 11 is supplied to the bus ls via a mode switch SW. The input terminal (+) of the amplifier 14 is connected not via the amplifier 13, but direct to the filter 12. Consequently, stable signal compression/expansion is performed without any influence of the output of the amplifier 13 having a DC offset voltage large in variance.
