CONSTITUTION:A powder mixture of manganese dioxide and graphite is charged in a fluidization granulating machine 1, and a tetrahydrofran solution which contains 0.2 to 3pts.wt%. of polystyrene or polyvinylchloride in 100pts. of the powder mixture is sprayed, when hot air 2 is blown from the bottom upwardly to fluidize and agitate the mixture 3. After spraying, hot air of 45 to 66 deg.C is fed to dry and to obtain anode compound grains. Because the grain size distribution of the compound is narrow and the grains are spherical, the fluidity is increased to control accurately the weight of a molded, blending process is combined with the grain production process, and both processes can be conducted in one stage, so the sifting process is eliminated, and the cost can be reduced.
