Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the assembling process of cell by employing a porous separator molded from nonelectron conductive inorganic or organic compound thereby eliminating the short-circuit. CONSTITUTION:A separator 3 is molded integrally with a positive electrode active subsistance of silver oxide. It is contained together with a zinc negative electrode active subsistance 4 in a positive electrode 1 which is also used as a casing, then a negative electrode 5 which is also used as a casing and an insulation ring 6 are laminated thereafter the open end 7 is calked to produce a button type cell. Said separator is molded from nonelectron conductive inorganic compound such as silica, almina, titania, zirconia, molybdenum oxide, tungsten oxide, tantalum nitride, etc. or organic compound such as polyester, polystyrene, etc. into porous member.
