Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable rising of a surface temperature without producing a backfire, by a method wherein a heatproof, heat-insulating material, forming a fuel gas path, is filled at a back surface of a heatproof porous substance made of glass fibers.
CONSTITUTION: A portion, being filled with a heatproof, heat-insulating material made of ceramic fibers, is placed on a reverse surface of a heatproof porous substance 5 made of glass fibers, and thereby a heat, conducted through the so filled portion itself and fuel surface (a) facing a space formed at a reverse surface thereof, is insulated. Simultaneously, a bending path in a small diameter, in which flame is difficult to move in reverse, is formed, and thereby a burner proper can be prevented from a backfire combustion therein for the increase in a combustion temperature on the combustion surface (a). Besides, a combustion property is stabilized due to a flame stabilizing effect produced by a heatproof porous substance 5, which results in preventing from the production of a noxious component, such as carbon monoxide and the like.
