Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a simple equalization for the level ratio between a video signal and a voice signal, by extracting the double wave AC component out of the output of a variable tilt amplifier and comparing this component with the reference voltage to control the variable tilt amplifier. CONSTITUTION:When the image/voice double carrier signal is applied to an input terminal 10, the double wave differential AC component emerges at a resistance R1 end by giving a wave detection to the double waveheight frequency signal of a variable tilt amplifier 7 through a diode D1. The amplitude value of the double wave differential AC component varies by the level difference between a video signal and a voice signal. Based on the difference of the AC component, a capacitor C2 is charged. And the difference of AC component is converted into a DC component to be applied to a differential amplifier 6. In such way, the level ratio can be fixed at a certain value that is decided by a reference voltage 5 of the differential amplifier 6 for the video signal obtained through an output terminal 11 although some fluctuation is caused at the input terminal.
