Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent fretting fatigue of the rotor to be caused by relative slip between a rotor wedge to hold a rotor winding and the tooth parts of the rotor core and to enhance reliability of the electric rotary machine by a method wherein an elastic body is interposed between the contacting faces of the rotor wedge to hold the rotor winding and the tooth parts of the rotor core. CONSTITUTION:Between the contacting faces 5 of the rotor wedge 4 to be equipped at the opening part of a rotor winding groove 2 to hold the rotor winding and the rotor core 1, the elastic body 6 made of Teflon, etc., is interposed. Accordingly, the concentration of pressure at the contacting faces between the rotor wedge 4 and the rotor core 1 is prevented, and fretting fatigue of the rotor can be avoided.
