CONSTITUTION:An electro-acousic conversion element 1 is sticked to an acoustic absorbing material 2 such as hiker colk or absorbing rubber containing lead, and a cable 5 as a lead wire is connected to each element 1, and the elements 1 are entered in the case 3 and molded with a mold 4. By using the element 1 as an ultrasonic wave transmitter/receiver, allowing to easily design the shape of the element 1 and the case 3 according to the used frequency and the fitting method of the transmitter/ receiver, the desired shading is given and a single beam without side-pole is easily obtained.
