Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to permit the setting of the higher discharge heat temperature of heat loss in iron cores than that in windings by thermally isolating windings and iron cores by insulating partition walls wherein the windings and iron cores are cooled by separate cooling systems. CONSTITUTION:Iron cores 1 and windings 2 are thermally isolated by thermal insulating partition walls 4 such as a teflon material or the like. Cooling systems 8-10 for iron cores and those 5-7 for windings are thermally isolated. Accordingly, the temperature in the systems 8-10 for iron cores can be maintained at temperature higher than that in those 5-7 for windings. Therefore, a cooler can be miniaturized and the utilization of waste heat can be attained by keeping the discharge heat temperature of the cooling systems for iron cores at several hundred degrees C.
