Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable substance free from irritative odor by adding formamide to the dispersion of micro capsules after the completion of capsulation so as to cause the reaction of the formamide with residual formaldehyde in the dispersion. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of the micro capsules by using formaldehyde as a film wall-hardening agent or a film wall-forming material, formamide is added to the micro capsules dispersion after the completion of capsulation, whereupon the formamide reacts with excessive formaldehyde present in the dispersion to form irritative odor-free stable substance without causing any damage to the wall film of the capsule.
