Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a wide-angle zoom lens system having a comparatively large wide-angle end picture angle and a good compensation of aberration with a brightness of F3.5-F2.8, by distributing the 1st group of a negative refractive power, the 2nd group of a positive refractive power and the 3rd group of a positive refractive power in that order from the object field and in a relative movable way to each other and thus satisfying various terms. CONSTITUTION:The lens system consists of the 2nd and 3rd groups of a negative refractive power and a postive refractive power distributed in a relative movable way to each other plus the 1st group. The 1st group comprises at least >=2 positive lenses and >=2 negative lenses, and the 2nd group consists of at least >=4 positive lenses plus >=1 negative lens in a positive-negative-positive triplet array. The 3rd group comprises at least a positive lens and a negative lens. Thus the terms (1)- (3) are satisfied, where f1, f2 and f3 are focal distances of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd groups respectively.
