Abstract

CONSTITUTION:In the case of applying corrugation working to the central part of the web of an H-beam, the corrugated shape is formed under the following conditions: Namely, 9,3t<L<36t, 1.0t<f<3.9t, 0.5h<C<h-L, where (t): the plate thickness of web, (h): the height of web, (f): the amplitude of corrugation, C: the width of corrugation, L: the pitch of corrugation. Only the central part is corrugated by leaving flat parts in both edge parts of the web under the above- mentioned conditions, whereby the corrugation working is applied easily without giving any detrimental influence upon the joint parts between the web and flanges.
