Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process by a method wherein the tile- shaped permanent magnets divided into plural numbers are integrated by a shaft with a step in a cylindrical guard case made of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The outside diameter R2 of the permanent magnet 2 is made smaller than the inside diameter R1 of the guard case 1 containing fiber and meanwhile, the inside diameter R3 of the magnet 2 is made smaller than the outside diameter R4 or a part (a) of the shaft 3 with the step to be kept in the relation of R1-R2<R4-R3. When the part (a) of the shaft 3 is inserted within the inside diameter R3 of the magnets 2 in that state, the pluraity of the magnets expand outwardly, fill up a space (b) and moreover, the case 1 is expanded in the direction of the diameter. The larger the dimension of R4-R1 is made, the stronger the case 1, the magnets 2 and the shaft 3 are integratedly fixed. The gap between the stator and the permanent magnet can be reduced and the performance improvement can be contrived reducing a magnetic leakage by using the synthetic resin containing a nonmagnetic body for the guard case.
