Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the yield of manufacture and obtain minute holes having smooth surfaces by pulling out wires from a molded body set by injected resin in a method for boring a nozzle plate used in plastic injection molding. CONSTITUTION:After a release agent is stuck to the inside of a stainless steel box 16, both ends of a plurality of wires 17 (whose diameters are 20-200mum) passed through the minute holes made in walls on both sides of the box 16 are pulled horizontally by engaging fittings having spring property. Next, epoxy resin 22 is filled up in the box 16 and the wires 17 are buried therein and later the resin 22 is set. Thereafter, the set resin 22 is taken out of the box 16 are cut into block in a prescribed size, and the block thus obtained is immersed in salt-compounded water solution and thereby the wires 17 is dissolved. Thereafter, the set resin 22 with minute holes 25 is cut into a number of thin plates along a vertical plane to the holes 25 by means of a diamond cutter and both surfaces of the plates are ground, whereby a multinozzle of the ink-jet head is obtained.
