Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of bubbles during high-speed injection, by compounding any substance selected from the group of fatty acids, fatty acid esters, fatty acid amides and aliphatic hydrocarbons in a specified ratio in crystalline polypropylene. CONSTITUTION:In the injection molding of a copolymer of crystalline polypropylene with melt flow rate of 20g/10min or more, at least one substance selected from the group consisting of fatty acids (stearic acid etc.), fatty acid esters (glycerol monostearate etc.), fatty acid amides (lauryl amide etc.) and aliphatic hydrocarbons (polyethylene wax etc.), in an amount of 0.06pts.wt. or more, is added to and mixed in 100pts.wt. of the crystalline polypropylene. Since the specified compound is added, the generation of bubbles in injection-molded articles using polypropylene is prevented and, in addition, the articles can be released easily from a mold.
