Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure the tension of travelling yarn in high accuracy by a method wherein a rotatory guide and a detecting element are mounted onto a yarn way of travelling yarn, and both are each contacted with the travelling yarn at all times.
CONSTITUTION: A rotatory guide 4 changing periodically a yarn way between two pairs of yarn-way regulating guides 1, 2 at locations shown in the figure and an element 5 detecting contacting pressure with travelling yarn 3 are installed on the yarn way while the rotatory guide 4 and the detecting element 5 are contacted with the travelling yarn 3 at all times. Thus, a tensimeter is not subject to the free vibration of the travelling yarn 3 and the yarn way is similarly displaced continually, and errors, in measurment are not generated due to the change of a contacting condition between the travelling yarn 3 and the detecting element 5. Since a shaft of the rotatory guide 4 is made eccentric previously, the yarn way is displaced once per one revolution of the rotatory guide 4, and the accuracy of working of the rotatory guide has no effect of the accuracy of measurement.
