Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the accuracy of measurement by a method wherein a material adhered to a slanted inside wall surface at a lower part of the meter due to the bridging phenomenon is easily removed by utilizing the oscillating phenomenon of a soft hose which occurs at the time of injecting compressed air.
CONSTITUTION: After a pluverulent material 5 in the meter 4 is discharged by natural descent under gravitational influence, compressed air is supplied into the soft hose 6 and is jetted from the tip end of the hose 6 toward the slanted inside wall surface 2. In this case, the hose 6 rotates horizontally while oscillating as a result of the reaction force of the compressed air being jetted, so that the compressed air is jetted over the entire periphery of the inside wall surface 2. Accordingly, the material 5 having been adhered to the wall surface 2 due to the bridging phenomenon is removed and is fed to the next processing step, resulting in that all the material 5 measured by the meter 4 can be fed to the next step.
