Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the copying machine easier to operate by providing size assigning means and copying magnification assigning means and displaying the size change modes of original sizes and copy sizes in correspondence to said copying magnification assigning means. CONSTITUTION:A print button 11 and a standby button 12 are provided to a control panel, and buttons 13-17 which assign various sizes of transfer paper and reduced scale buttons 18, 19, and a full-scale size button 20 which assign copying magnifications are disposed. A display device 18a which displayes A B, B A of original sizes and copy sizes is provided to the reduced-scale button 18 and a display device 19a which displays A B, B B is provided to the button 19. The signals thereof are inputted to an operation circuit including AND circuits 39-43, an OR circuit 44 and a condition decision circuit 45, thereby lighting a print button 11. Hence, in spite of an increase in variable magnification function, the machine is made easier to operate without so much increase in operating means.
