CONSTITUTION:Reference signals fp1 and fp2 are recorded in partly overlapped way on the magnetism sensing body 61 in the lengthwide direction of the Ni-plated surface of arc shaped having the same radius as that of the rotating drum. This height is located near the rotating heads A, B of a given height. The position is in the range of rotation where no signal recording is made for the rotating heads A, B. When the rotating head A, B pass the front of the magnetism sensing body 61 alternately, the reproduced reference signals fp1, fp2 are supplied to the differential amplifier 37 via the switching circuits 32a, 32b, amplifier 34, band pass filters 35a, 35b and detection circuits 36a, 36b, the error signal is inputted to the driving coil 21 and the heads A, B are kept at a given height.
