PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a battery by providing a counting circuit which counts the frequency of the operation of a push-button power switch and by decreasing the probability that electric power is supplied in error by supplying a voltage when the counting value of the said circuit reaches a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The miniature electronic computer which supplies the voltage of battery 12 to arithmetic display circuit 13 through the operation of push-button power switch 10 is provided with counting circuit 11 which counts the frequency of the operation of switch 10. Between battery 12 and arithmetic display circuit 13, switching circuit 14 which supplies the voltage of battery 12 to arithmetic display circuit 13 is provided, and this switching circuit 14 is closed when the count value of circuit 11 reaches a prescribed value and opened after a power-source cutoff switch is operated. If switch 10 is operated in error, the voltage is not supplied to arithmetic circuit 13 whose power consumption is great.
