Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the main parts of two timing setting systems common easily by making the number of scanning lines per field of a high speed linear scanner and that of a high speed sector scanner agree with each other. CONSTITUTION:The device is designed so that the number of scanning lines N per field of the high speed linear scanner 15 and that of the high speed sector scanner 20 may be equal to each other. A reception signal is sent to a receiver 22 that is used for both the high speed linear scan and the high speed sector scan in common, a displaying Z signal circuit 23 and an X-Y monitor 27 by turning a change-over switch 21. Also a generator 24, which produces a sweep signal for the linear display, and the other one 25 for the sector display can be changed to each other by a change-over switch 26. And either of both outputs of a phase lock loop 30 and a reference oscillator 31 is selected for the timing controllers 28, 29. In this way, the main part of the timing setting system can be made common.
