Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a pelletizer equipped with a rotary passage ejecting fluid toward the tip of each nozzle hole, specially capable of pelletizing soft resin without agglomeration, inside a rotary body equipped with blades. CONSTITUTION:A rotary body 5 equipped with a plural number of blades 8 with bolts 9 is provided with a die 1 in such manner that the blade tip 8a of each blade 8 may rotate tangentially with a nozzle hole 4. In addition, a rotary passage 10 is provided around the axis of the rotary element 5 and this passage 10 is communicated with a rear jet hole 12 of each blade 8 through the intermediary of a branch 11. Resin injected from a nozzle hole 4 through a resin outflow channel 3 is cut into pellets by the blade 8 and at the same time, pellets are blown off by fluid (e.g.: air) from the jet hole 12, so that pellets do not stick to each other to form an agglomeration, thereby obtaining pellets.
