Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent liquid leakage from a valve by putting an expandable and shrinkable closed pipe on a part of a valve rod positioned in a valve case, and attaching one circular end of the pipe around an opening positioned in the valve case or at the inner surface of a valve cover and the other circular end of the pipe around the outer surface of the said part, in liquid tight condition.

CONSTITUTION: A closed pipe 31, shaped in cornice, made of Teflon and having the inner diameter whose size is almost same as the outer diameter of a cylinder 26, is fitted on a part of a cylinder 26 of a valve rod 21 positioned in a valve case 10, while one circular part 32 protruded horizontaly and inwardly is formed on the top circumference of the closed pipe 31 and the other circular part 33 protruded horizontally and outwardly is formed at the lower end circumference of the pipe 31. The circular part 32 has the inner diameter whose size is almost same as that of the cylinder 26 and is put between a valve body 27 and the cylinder 26 to keep liquid tight between the outer surface of the valve rod 21 and the closed pipe 31, while the circular part 33 has the outer diameter whose size is almost same as that of the inner surface of a cover 16 and is put between a circular end 15 of the valve case 10 and said inner surface of the cover 16 to keep liquid tight between the circumference of a goove 20 as well as a valve case 10 and said cover 16.
