Abstract

PURPOSE: To generate a sine wave form vibration under a low noise by placing one of two members to the center of vibration amplitude to the other member in a unit provided with a double acting type hydraulic actuator which permits the two members to make a relative reciprocating motion.
CONSTITUTION: A double acting type hydraulic actuator A is provided with a piston 5 which makes a reciprocating motion in a cylinder 2, and driven under control by a supply and discharge control unit B. The supply and discharge control unit B feeds a pressure oil to an oil supply chamber 9 of a rotary valve 9, and also rotates a rotary valve 11 with a hydraulic motor, thereby reciprocating a piston 5 under vibration, supplying and discharging an actuating oil to each oil chamber 3 and 4 respectively. Below a cylinder 2 are installed hydraulic springs 15 and 16 consisting of a liquid vessel 18 and a piston 19 which can slide freely in a hollow place of the oil vessel 8. The piston 9 is connected to a piston rod 6 as one piece. This construction provides an energized force which maintains the piston 5 at the center of the amplitude of vibration.
