CONSTITUTION:When the probe 3 and clip 4 are connected to the subject of measurement, the resistance detector 2 detects the leak current. This detection signal is converted by the logarithm converter 7 and then by the A/D converter 8 to be applied to the voice synthesizer 10. Here the result of measurement is converted into the voice and is delivered through the speaker 15. Owing to such speaking type, the operator does not need to look at the readings of the meter. Thus the workability is increased. Furthermore the microphone 13 and the transmitter/receiver 19 are provided and switched to each other to transmit the result of measurement to a remote place. At the same time, such a device is also used as a transceiver.
