Abstract
The unit is used in the reception of indicating signals at audio frequencies. it is applied in telephonic equipment, push-button indicating equipment or equipment with register using signals at different frequencies. The unit may receive signals at different frequencies. It has a voice signal discriminator connected to one input terminal. The discriminator comprises a mean value detector, a maximum value detector and a comparator connected to the two detectors. The comparator gives a first signal when the maximum value to mean value ratio is greater than a set value, and gives a second signal when the ratio is less than the set value.
