Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform analysis efficiently without lowering the accuracy of analysis by controlling heating time to a requried minimum time in atomizing the sample housed in an electric resistor. CONSTITUTION:The sample housed in a carbon pipe which is an electric resistor is atomized by undergoing three stages; a drying stage A, an ashing stage B and an atomizing stage C. If the initial temp., end point temp. and heating time or temp. raising speed of the carbon pipe are set in a keyboard 1 at every stage, a CPU2 controls a power source 3 in such a manner that the atomizing part 3 assumes a prescribed temp. The respective stages are shifted continuously, and the heating time is controlled to a required minimum, whereby the atomization of the sample housed in the pipe is accomplished. As a result, the analysis is performed efficiently without lowering the accuracy of analysis.
