CONSTITUTION:Front positional slippage detecting circuit 2 detects positional slippage value N1 of each center between the data stripe and the rotary head in the data stripe start by rotary head 5. Back positional slippage detecting circuit 3 detects positional slippage value N2 of each center between the data stripe and the rotary head in the data stripe terminal. Microprocessor 1 sets skew value S to correction value set register 6. Microprocessor 1 adds 1 to or substracts 1 from position counter 10 each time the correction pulse is detected, and microprocessor 1 resets pulse detecting circuit 8 immediately.
