Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate an interference wave without exerting an evil influence upon transmission characteristics to a main signal by canceling an interference wave, extracted through a narrow-band-pass filter, by adding the interference wave to a main signal passed through a wide-band-pass filter while they are put out of phase with each other. CONSTITUTION:An input signal passed through input amplifier 11 is branched into two parts via matching resistances 12 and 13 and they are inputted to wide-band- pass filter 14 and narrow-band-pass filter 15. Through wide-band-pass filter 14, the main signal is passed with sufficient band width and less distortion and then inputted to variable attenuator 16. Narrow-band-pass filter 15 extracts an interference wave with sufficiently narrow band width and inputs it to variable phase shifter 17. The main signal which is the output of variable attenuator 16 and the interference wave which is the output of variable phase shifter 17 are mixed after passing through matching resistances 18 and 19 to cancel and eliminate the interference wave in the main signal. The main signal eliminated the interference wave is outputted via output amplifier 20.
