Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a coated molding easily without necessitating the preforming of the film by a method wherein a specified reinforced film is utilized as the film for coating arranged in a mold beforehand in order to coat the surface of an injection molded from having recesses and protrusions thereon. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin film (sheet) blended with resin (and/or rubber) having toughness and elasticity is utilized as the film (sheet) for coating which is arranged in the mold beforehand with respect to vinyl chloride series resin or ABS series resin which are the principal constituent of the molding. In case injection molding resin is ABS series resin, for example, the film of the principal constituent (vinyl chloride series resin, ABS series resin), blended with about 5-30% of nitryl rubber, about 5-30% of copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate and about 0-20% of soft urethane resin, is utilized. By utilizing the film as above- described, even though the film is utilized as it is without preforming it into the recessed and protruded cnfiguration as the surface of the molded form, the excellent coated molding may be obtained.
