Abstract
PURPOSE: To continuously obtain tritium water at a stable capturing rate without being affected by the absolute temp. of sample air by humidifying a gas contg. tritium to a gas contg. tritium water vapor and extracting tritium water.
CONSTITUTION: After the sample air contg. tritium flowed from an inflow pipeline 3a into a humidifier 1 is humidified in the humidifier 1, it is carried into a moisture extractor 2, where water content is extracted, and is discharged through an outflow pipeline 3b. In this way, the tritium water contg. tritium is extracted from the sample air contg. tritium water vapor flowed in through the pipeline 3a. During the measurement of the tritium concn. of the extracted tritium water, the tritium water vapor capturing work may be made continuously as well. By using the humidifier 1, the extraction rate is determined irrespective of the moisture content contained in the sample air.
