Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the output electric signal proportional to pressure with good accuracy by adding a fixed capacity capacitor which does not cause any change in electrostatic capacity according to the displacement of a pressure receiving element in parallel to a variable capacity capacitor thereby constituting a variable capacity part. CONSTITUTION:A variable capacity capacitor is formed by a stationary electrode 16 and a moving electrode 14, and an additional capacity capacitor is formed by a stationary electrode 17 and a metallic ring 12. A variable capacity part is constituted by these two parallel connected capacitors. Also, a fixed capacity capacitor for comparison is formed by a stationary electrode 18 and the metallic ring 12 and a fixed capacity part is constituted by this capacitor. With such constitution, when pressure is applied upon a diaphragm 22, this pressure is exerted upon a leaf spring 13 via internally sealed fluid, thereby causing this to displace. As a result, the capacity of the variable capacity capacitor changes but the capacities of the additional fixed capacity capacitor and the fixed capacity capacitor for comparison do not change.
