Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high measurement accuracy even when the cell is exerted with deviated load and improve reliability by forming notches in the end parts of electrode plates thereby decreasing height size. CONSTITUTION:A pair of electrode plates 3 opposing to each other along the load direction are adhered and fixed by mans of an adhesive 4 in the load receiving hole 2 formed in parallel with the load receiving face of a block 1, whereby an electrostatic capacity type load cell is constituted. Notches 9 of roughly a U shape for the purpose of facilitating deformation are provided at both ends of said electrode plates 3 and therefore even if the load cell is acted with the deviated load or pressure on its load receiving surface and the distribution of the deformation in the load receiving hole is unevened, the stresses generated in the adhesive 4 are kept low, and the high reliability against deviated load and impact load is obtained.
