Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the pulsation of a weighing pan and a coil spring and permit quick weighing by combining a differential transformer and a magnet with a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:When an object to be measured is placed on a weighing pan 3, the pan 3 descends and the iron core 14 in a differential transformer 13 also descends by way of a link 10, a movable rod 11a and a mounting member 12a. As a result, the electric current generated in the transformer 13 flows via an ammeter to the solenoid 16 interposed in the magnetic field of a magnet 17. The solenoid 16 is pushed up by the force proportional to this current, and the pan 3 is returned to the position of no load by a lever 15, a mounting member 12a and a movable rod 11b. The weight of the object to be measured is detected with the ammeter. Since the vertical movement of the pan 3 and a coil spring 8 is suppressed in this way, the weight is measured rapidly and accurately.
