Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit the flow-rate of the fluid which flows through a valve seat to be controlled nearly linearly according to the current value given to a magnetic coil, by allowing the rate of increase of the area of the opening which is formed with the valve and a guide to increase gradually according to the shift of the control valve.
CONSTITUTION: When the current from a DC power source is given to a magnetic coil 11, the magnetic flux of the coil 11 passes through a motor housing 10, fixed core 12, movable core 15 and a yoke 13, and each attractive force which corresponds to the current value is generated between the inner peripheral surface of the yoke 13 and the outer peripheral surface of the left end part of the core 15 and between the concaved part 12b of the core 12 and the convex part 15 of the core 15. At this time, a shaft 14 and the core 15 are shifted rightward in proportion to the attractive force corresponding to the current value by the action of a spring 22. Further, owing to the rightward movement of a poppet valve 31, the rate of increase of the area of the opening formed by the poppet valve 31 and a guide 30a increases gradually and the decrease of the flow rate of the air from a chamber R2 to a chamber R1 due to the decrease of the differential pressure generated between both chambers R1 and R2 is corrected.
