Abstract

PURPOSE: To optionally change the direction of objects being fed by providing a free conveyer whose feeding direction is indefinite between rollers among roller conveyers in such a way that the free conveyer can appear or disappear freely on the feeding face of the roller conveyers.
CONSTITUTION: A roller conveyer 11 is made up by rotatably attaching a large number of rollers 14 in parallel between frame side plates 13, and an elevating base 16 is attached in a freely vertically movable manner between support legs 15 to support the conveyer 11. On the elevating base 16, free conveyers 17 consisting of hard balls 18 and housings 19 are provided in 4 lines longitudinally and 5 lines crossly, for example, and the free conveyers 17 in each cross line are positioned between the adjacent rollers 14. And, the elevating base 16 is lifted by turning a rotary arm 21 counterclockwise by means of an operating knob 26 and also turning a rotary arm 22 in the same direction through a link 24 in such a way that the free conveyers 17 are projected from the feeding face of the conveyer 11.
