Abstract

PURPOSE: To correct the deviation of the ignition time by detecting the deviation of the ignition time upon the predetermined operation of the engine, and correcting the ignition time so as to set it at the normal ignition time in correspondence to the detection memory output.
CONSTITUTION: A reference signal from a reference signal generating circuit 2 is supplied to a phase difference angle detection circuit 4, and an ignition signal from the ignition signal generator 1 is supplied through a phase shifting circuit 3 to the phase difference angle detection circuit 4. Further, the phase difference angle detection circuit 4 produces a correction signal of a pulse length corresponding to the phase difference angle between both signals. When the idling state is detected by an idling detector 5, a correction signal is supplied to a locking circuit 9, through a gate circuit 6, and the reversible driving circuit 7 adjusts a variable resistor 8, so that the phase shifting quantity of the phase shifting circuit 3 is adjusted, thereby the ignition signal maintains a predetermined phase relationship with respect to the reference signal.
