PURPOSE:To obtain a TV signal recorder/reproducer having a large capacity of storage, by giving an analog-type process to the floppy disk driving means of the above-mentioned recorder/reproducer which records the scanned and converted TV signal and then reproduces it after a scan and adverse conversion. CONSTITUTION:In the record mode as shown in the figure, the TV signal receives an A/D conversion to be recorded to the buffer memory 12. After this, the TV signal receives a D/A conversion to be stored in the floppy disk driving means 16 after a modulation into FM. In the reproduction mode, the switches S1 and S2 are connected to the P side, and a scan and adverse conversion are given to the converted TV signal so as to perform a time axial compression corresponding to the time axial extension. Then the TV signal is read in a speed of e.g. 27 times to be turned into a time axial TV signal. Then the reproduced signal is sent to the output terminal 18 after a demodulation, A/D conversion and others. In such way, an analog-type process is given to the signal of the means 16. As a result, a static picture recorder/reproducer having a sufficiently large storing capacity of information can be obtained.
