Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it easy to replace an arm body by enabling the tone arm to be attached and detached by leading out the output signal of a cartridge by providing a connector to the coupling part of a tone arm fitting part and arm mount. CONSTITUTION:Tone arm 1 is fitted with cartridge 4 and weight 3 and at it intermediate part, fixing screw 5 is provided. Stand 13, on the other hand, is provided with rotating shaft 14 on which arm 1 rotates horizontally and holder 12 on it is provided with arm mount 9 turnable vertically around shaft 11 and also fitted with arm 1 by screw 5. Further, output lead wire 8 from cartridge 4 is led out by way of the connector consisting of contactor 7 in arm 1 and terminal 10 in arm mount 9. Tone arm 1 can, therefore, be attached and detached, making it easy to replace the main body and cartridge.
