Abstract

1482469 Two-part coupling ERNST ROEDERSTEIN SPEZIALFABRIK FUR KONDENSATOREN GmbH 25 July 1974 [1 Aug 1973 17 Jan 1974] 32915/74 Heading H2E A connector plug for a cable 7 comprises a flexible moulded plastics cup 1 which is substantially free from undercutting and a moulded plastics elongated cable housing including a contact supporting part 3 for a contact member 4 which is provided inside the cup, and a cable support 5 extending at an acute angle to the cup axis, the cup having a passage orifice through which the cable housing passes. The passage opening may be adjacent the base (apex) of the cup with the upper and lower edges being laterally offset (Fig. 6, not shown) and additional strengthening walls (32, 33) may also be provided. The cable support 5 contains resistors 8 moulded in a resin 14 and enclosed in a shrunk-on tube 15. In other embodiments (Figs. 10, 11, not shown) the cup is clamped between a cap (51) and the part 3, the cable support is open on its lower side adjacent the open end of the cup and the part 3 is formed integrally with the cable support.
