Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve response characteristic by providing a means to discharge an electric charge accumulated in a photoelectric conversion means following the turning ON of a power supply with regard to the titled circuit provided at a light measurement part of a photographic camera. CONSTITUTION:If a power supply switch S is closed to turn ON a power supply, an electric an electric charge which allows an antiphase input terminal (-) to be positive is accumulated in a junction capacity Cj of the photodiode PD. A cathode terminal on an electric discharge diode D has a voltage mounting toward a reference voltage Vref at a time constant which is determined by a resistance R and a capacitor C at the same time when a power supply is turned ON. During this ascending period, the electric discharge diode D indicates a normal direction characteristic, so that an electric charge accumulated in the junction capacity Cj of photodiode PD is discharged through the electric discharge diode D. If the potential of the capacitor C approaches the reference voltage Vref, the electric discharge diode D is noncontinuous. However, if a time constant is properly set, an output voltage Vo of an arithmetic amplifier OP is increased rapidly to a prearranged value, thus attaining the purpose of photoelectric conversion.
