Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a film which is excellent in an oxygen-insulating property and transparency, by a method wherein, in a continuous biaxial-stretching in a flat shape, the longitudinal width is stretched 1.2W1.98 times as wide as that of the original film at a specified temperature range and the lateral width is stretched 3.0W5.0 times as wide as that of the original film at the same temperature range.
CONSTITUTION: A copolymer, in which 50W95pts.wt. acrylonitrile and 50W5 pts.wt. acryl acid methyl are graft-polymerized, is fused under the existence of 3W30pts.wt. butadien-acrylonitrile copolymer containing 40W95wt%, and is extruded by a T-die method. The copolymer so extruded is continuously biaxial-stretched in a flat shape such that it is longitudinally stretched through the difference in a circumferential velocity between rolls, and consecutively, it is stretched transversely in a tenter. The longitudinal width is stretched 1.2W1.98 times as wide as that of the original film thereupon when the temperature of said copolymer remains at Tg-Tg+60°C (Tg: glass transition point), and the lateral width is stretched 3.0W 5.0 times as wide as that of the original film at the same temperature range. A drawing shows that the film, produced under this invention, equalizes in the thickness (μ) against the directional distance (mm) of the film.
