Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an emulsified liquid of high stability by passing a liquid between a stator and a rotator without raising the resistance of liquid flow while turning a disk of impeller inside spherical ribs of slits and also while alternately switching the fluid passages inside a casing. CONSTITUTION:Static parts and rotating parts are alternately switched by ribs 4 and 5 sealing up the slit group 6 in the casing 1 and the disk 12 of impellers 10 and 11 in order to form fluid passages. And, liquids A and B are flowed into ports 2 and 3, the impellers 10 and 11 are turned with a high speed, and the premixed liquids A and B enter the spaces of the impellers 10 and 11 but their way is interrupted by the disk 12. And, the liquids A and B undergo such mechanical forces as shearing and impact, etc. between the projection of the slit 6 and the impeller (stirring blade) 10 and further undergo a grinding force inside small apertures. Thus, the emulsified liquid of high stability can be obtained by such resistless mechanical forces.
