Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of the bearing structure of a small-sized motor by simplifying the structure and to save the number of parts in the motor by projecting a stationary shaft from one end of a case, forming a rotor shaft in a hollow shape and rotatably inserting the rotor shaft around the stationary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A cover 3 made of molded resin and operating also as a terminal base is inserted into the opening end of a cylindrical metallic case 2 with a bottom, and a stationary shaft 4 is projected from the cover 3 toward the interior of the case. The rotor shaft 6 is formed of a thick-diameter part 7 for mounting an iron core 8 and a thin-diameter part 5 projected from the case 2, and a recess hole 9 is formed at the center of the thick-diameter part 7. The hole 9 is inserted to the stationary shaft 4, and the thin-diameter part 5 is inserted into the central hole 10 of the case 2 to support the rotor. Thus, the axial length can be shortened as compared with the structure that the rotor shaft is supported at both ends by bearings, and the number of the parts can be reduced.
