Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the heat energy radiated to a copying paper constant by detecting the temp. change of a housing vessel which affects the radiation energy to the copying paper having toner images and controlling the supply electric power of a heat source for heat fixing. CONSTITUTION:A housing vessel 15 and a heat source 14 provided to said vessel are provided on the conveyance route for copying paper to heat-fix the toner images. The heat source 14 is connected to an AC power source 19 via a TRIAC18. Hence, the electric power supply of the heat source 14 is controlled by applying a control signal to the gate G of said 18. Temp. detecting thermocouples 20a, 20b are provided to the heat source 14 and the vessel 15, and are connected and combined in series by a terminal part 21. The outputs thereof are inputted to the amplifier circuit 23 of a temp. control circuit 22, from which they are inputted as combined electromotive force (Va+b) into a comparator 24, the output whereof enters a control circuit 25 which emits a signal to the gate G.
