Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the color reproduction by subjecting a direct positive color photographic sensitive material used to take a photograph under a xenon light source to optical fog exposure by means of a fluorescent lamp with a high color rendering property. CONSTITUTION:A direct positive color photographic sensitive material designed to take a photograph under a xenon light source is used to take a photograph and subjected to optica fog exposure by means of a fluorescent lamp with a high color rendering property such as >=about 77 average color rendering valuation Ralpha, color development, bleach fixing and stabilization to form a positive image. The same xenon light source is preferably used as a light source for the exposure, yet in case of a flash it causes uneveness in high illuminance from the viewpoint of its characteristics, and when it is used as an ordinary light source, the calorific value is too high. On the other hand, a white fluorescent lamp causes insufficiency of blue and red components, resulting in inferior color reproduction. The used silver halide emulsion may be various kinds of silver halides of internal latent image type.
