Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled adhesive which keeps its original high adhesivity even under intense heat or wet with gasoline, by dissolving a urethane polymer having NCO groups at both ends and obtained by the reaction of specific acryl urethane polymer and a specific urethane polymer, in a solvent.
CONSTITUTION: (A) An acryl urethane polymer obtained by the graft polymerization of (a) 1W50pts.wt. of an acrylic monomer such as (meth)acrylic acid lower alcohol ester to (b) 100pts.wt. of a urethane polymer having OH groups at both ends and obtained by the reaction of (1) a polyalkylene adipate having OH groups at both ends with (2) 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate at a molar ratio OH: NCO=1:(1W0.85), and (B) a urethane prepolymer having NCO groups at both ends and obtained by the reaction of polypropylene glycol with toluene dissocyanate at a molar ratio OH:NCO=1:2, are dissolved in a solvent and made to react with each other.
EFFECT: It has sufficiently high adhesive strength to resist the thermal expansion or contraction difference between the bead and the metal part caused by the temperature change of the environment.
